Executive coaching for leaders who are done with safe advice
You already know the frameworks. You have read the books. What you need is someone who will ask the question your board won't, and stay in the room while you work out the answer.
Book a candid conversationWhat actually changes
Consensus-seeking that stalls decisions
Many senior leaders confuse alignment with agreement. Meetings multiply, timelines stretch, and the team starts second-guessing itself. We work on reading the room faster and making clear calls with incomplete data, because that is what the role demands.
Decisive authority with genuine buy-in
Clients learn to separate the decisions that need consultation from those that need speed. One managing director cut her average decision cycle from fourteen days to three without losing a single direct report in the following year.
Operational drag disguised as diligence
High performers often stay too close to delivery. They review every deck, rewrite every email, attend every standup. The organisation reads this as distrust, even when the intent is quality.
Strategic altitude without losing grip
We build a personal delegation framework you actually trust. Not a theory exercise: a concrete list of what you stop doing, who picks it up, and how you stay informed without hovering. Most clients reclaim eight to twelve hours a week within the first two months.
Influence that depends on title alone
Positional power gets compliance, not commitment. When your peers on the exec team tune out or your board chair talks over you, the problem is rarely what you are saying. It is how you are being received.
Presence that shifts the room
We practise real scenarios from your calendar: the investor update, the restructuring announcement, the one-to-one with a colleague who resists you. Recorded, reviewed, refined until your delivery matches your intent.
How a programme runs
Diagnostic conversation (90 minutes, no fee)
We meet by video or in person. I ask about the specific situation you are trying to change, the constraints around you, and what you have already tried. By the end we both know whether this is the right fit. No obligation, no pitch deck.
Stakeholder input (optional, confidential)
If you choose, I speak with two or three people you nominate: a board member, a direct report, a peer. Fifteen-minute calls, tightly structured. The goal is to surface the gap between how you see yourself and how others experience you. I share the themes, never the quotes.
Six-month engagement (fortnightly sessions)
Twelve sessions of 75 minutes each. We work on live challenges from your diary, not hypothetical case studies. Between sessions you get short, specific assignments: a conversation to have differently, a meeting to restructure, a decision to make by a deadline you set.
Mid-point review at month three
We pause and assess. What has shifted? What has not? If the programme is not producing visible change by this point, we adjust the focus or end the engagement. I do not run out the clock.
Close and handover
A final session documents what you have learned, the habits that now stick, and the situations that will test you next. You leave with a written self-coaching guide built from your own programme, not a generic template.
Who I am
I spent sixteen years in operational leadership across financial services and technology before moving into coaching full time in 2018. My last corporate role was COO of a 400-person fintech subsidiary, where I reported to a board that changed chair three times in two years. That experience taught me more about influence under pressure than any certification.
I hold an ICF PCC credential and a postgraduate diploma in organisational psychology from Queen's University Belfast. I work with roughly eight clients at a time, never more. Programmes are delivered in person across Northern Ireland or by video anywhere in the UK.
Outside work, I run trail races badly and read economic history. I live ten minutes from the Mourne Mountains, which is useful for both.
Questions I hear often
Start here
Send a few lines about what you are dealing with. I reply personally within two working days. If it sounds like a fit, we schedule the diagnostic conversation.
